Richard Heller
Richard Heller Gallery was established in 1997 in Los Angeles featuring a program of international contemporary artists. In a previous 1980's “incarnation,” Richard Heller was instrumental in developing the careers of Raymond Pettibon and Kim Dingle. The Richard Heller Gallery currently represents 14 artists from Japan, Europe, Canada and the United States. The Gallery has established a regular exhibition program of primarily one-person shows and maintains relationships with international collectors, galleries and institutions. The artists represented by Richard Heller Gallery are collectively in the permanent collections of: The Metropolitan Museum of Art; The Whitney Museum of American Art; LACMA; MOCA; The Walker Art Center; Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation; Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago; The New York Public Library; MUDAM Luxembourg Musée d’Art Moderne; Victoria and Albert Museum London; Yokohama Museum of Art; and Fuchu Art Museum (The Tereda Collection) among other institutions.
