YOKO TANAKA is a London based gallery painter. She is showing her works in LA, Chicago, and Denver every year. When she graduated Art Center College of Design (Pasadena, CA) in 2005, her agent Steven Malk contacted her and that’s how she started working on children’s books. She has received many awards and prizes, and she has illustrated children’s books by Kate DiCamillo, R.L. LaFevers, Karen Foxlee, Sara Pennypacker, Laura Godwin, and of course Keith McGowan.
