Pinhas Abramovičius gimė 1909 m. netoli Kauno, mire 1986 m. Izraelyje. 1925 m. įstojo į Kauno meno mokyklą. 1929 m. P. Abramovičius išvažiavo į Izraelį ir į Lietuvą negrįžo. 1935–1936 m. mokėsi Paryžiuje, Didžiosios lūšnos akademijoje (Académie de la Grande Chaumière). Kaip ir kiti žydų dailininkai, gyvenę tarpukario Paryžiuje, P. Abramovičius linko į ekspresionizmą, o vėliau – į abstrakcionizmą. Vertinamas kaip vienas žymiausių Izraelio abstrakcionistų.
