Harry Benson is a Scottish photojournalist renowned for his images of The Beatles, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and the Civil Rights Movement. In 2016, the documentary Harry Benson: Shoot First, a chronicle of his career to date, was released by Magnolia Pictures. He currently lives and works between New York, NY and Palm Beach, FL. Today, Benson’s photographs are held in the collections of the Scottish National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh and the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C.
