Biography

My name is Christopher Lee and I am a multidisciplinary designer and illustrator. I grew up in Sacramento, California and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Sacramento State in 2006. I've loved drawing for as long as I can remember. My story is pretty much like every other kid that grew up in the 80's and early 90's: Saturday morning cartoons, Super Soakers in the summer, bowls of sugar laced cereals, fighter jet shaped fruit snacks, Commander Mark and The Secret City, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Disney Afternoons. Those early obsessions have influenced my work and life permanently. After I graduated college, I moved to Southern California to start my career. Since moving I’ve worked as an art director for the now defunct skate and urban culture magazine Vapors, had a couple vinyl toys released through various channels, and was later recruited to Buck, a place I called home until the fall of 2009 when I decided to finally strike off on my own. I have been independent ever since. I currently live in Los Angeles with my fiancé and our awesome dog, Ponzu.
