Bas Schippers (1992) is a painter from Enschede, The Netherlands. Mainly focusing on the themes of masculinity and vulnerability Bas uses stereotypes and cliches to question these topics. Through raw and wild brushstrokes, the confusion of growing up and having to live up to a certain ideal are being shown.
