Angela China (aka Gumshoe) is a New York-based artist perhaps best known for her thought-provoking depictions of women and in particular, women as seen through their relationship with shoes. Though recognized largely for her trademark “gumshoe” murals, GumShoe’s repertoire includes many deeply affecting and expertly crafted commentaries on women in society and media.
