After months of research the exquisite sketch showing the (possible) Hampstead skyline was presented for sale, bidding on the day lasted several minutes between the room and the phones where it finally fetched £375,000 In the 2017 Roseberys Asian Art auction a number of Chinese scrolls were presented, including a rare ZHANG RUITU (follower, of Chinese 1570-1644) inscribed with part of a poem by Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wei, which surpassed all expectations and realised a final price tag of £123,000 In 2016 Roseberys presented an Indian miniature depicted a scene of the walled old town of Amritsar with the Golden Temple, the work was coveted by bidders from across the globe being heavily contested across seven telephone lines. From an original investment of £40 the painting sold for £92,250.
